Life Lately

A little life update:

Life as an Andino has been so good! The transition for all of us couldn’t have gone any smoother…truly! It just goes to show me the power of prayer. I know so many people were praying over us as we became a new family. Praying for Danny as he stepped into his new role as a husband and a Dad, praying for Olive as her world as she had known it was changing drastically (praying that she would understand and know it was for the better), and praying for me as I became a new wife and began to co-parent. This transition could have gone either way, ya know, really smooth or really…not smooth, ha! We prepared for both.

I’m so happy and thankful to say it has been so easy! Olive has done so good. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her this happy. Even her teacher commented on it the other day. It’s just been so fun to see her prayer for a Daddy to be answered and the sheer joy it’s brought to her heart! And Danny…he has blown me away with how well he takes care of us! He’s just a natural at this!

So what’s next? A new home!

We couldn’t be more excited about this next chapter in our story! Dating, engaged, marriage, and hopefully a house all within under a year! Can you believe it? We’ve had so much fun on this house hunting journey and have learned a ton! With both of us working remotely, we really could move anywhere…and let me tell you, we’ve searched the ENTIRE DFW metroplex…literally! From Dallas to Flower Mound to Lake Highlands to Prosper to Fort Worth. I’ve studied and toured them all 😉

I’m a huge HGTV addict so I’ve totally been pretending like I’m on House Hunters (can you blame me?). Ive been debating whether we should buy a Fixer Upper (and be like Joanna Gaines) or go with a new construction. I’ve seen both my mom and sister in law flips two houses and my word, the finished products were breathtaking!! Y’all seriously would probably crack up to see how into this I’ve gotten! Our realtor from Rogers Healy and Associates has been so amazing though at giving us valuable information, teaching me the tricks of the trade and answering all of our questions!

So what are y’alls thoughts…Flip A House or New Construction???

PS-Stay tuned. I’ve got a fun announcement I’ll be sharing soon!!!
