Where do I even begin? There are so many long awaited days in ones life that somehow just don’t measure up. The day you turn 13, getting your drivers license (and suddenly realizing you’re the new family chauffeur), or more than likely prom. But this day that I’ve been dreaming about since I was a little girl didn’t disappoint, it was far beyond anything I could have ever dreamed.

It was a short engagement, we both knew what we wanted. Each of us had gone through our own God ordained journey that taught us a lot about life and about Him. I prayed for a Godly man that would love and lead both me and Olive, but I didn’t know there would be a man out there that felt so called and committed to not only becoming a husband but also a father. You can imagine how my heart melted when he told me he wanted to say vows to Olive as well. (And if you watched the video, you know exactly what I’m talking about!)

It was beyond description to celebrate this day with everyone that has loved and supported us over the years. There were so many personal touches throughout the wedding. From having my dad’s precious words as he officiated the wedding to our copper diamond pinatas made by my sister-in-law, cousin, and me during a marathon DIY and wine night for Olive’s kid table. The night ended with one big party. There was an electricity in the air.

**Thank you so much to all of my readers for all of your love and support. It has meant the world to us! I’ll be sharing more decoration details and talking about how I picked my theme and vendors very soon! Planning a wedding and finding the perfect vendors can be stressful, so I’ll be happy to share all the tips I have! If you have any specific questions you would like me to answer, ask in the comment section below!
